Haven't posted my plays...and frankly I'm glad I haven't lately, but I have a good feeling that I'm coming out of a miserable funk. Lets roll today...

Philly -7 over NYG: The Eagles defense shouldn't have too much trouble with Eli (look for Jevon Kearse to be chasing him all day long). The Falcons went up 14-0 before putting it on cruise control in New York last week, but I don't think Andy Reid will do that today. This is what I call a 'min-max' game...meaning I think the Eagles will minimally score in the mid-20s while I can't see the Giants scoring more than 14. I hate laying points on the road this late in the season, but I'll take my chances this time.

Falcons -9.5 over Saints: The saints haven't been able to give Deuce McAllister many carries lately, because they always find themselves down by so many points that they have to throw on almost every down to try and catch up. But they probably couldn't even establish the run game against Atlanta's good run defense anyways, so the Falcons may have the luxury of dropping more guys back into coverage to take the passing game away. Saints are starting a 7th round draft pick at LB...good news for Michael Vick and Warrick Dunn. Not good news for Jim Haslett though...and I think his players have quit on him anyways.

Zona +3 over NYJ: Live dog alert. The Jets haven't looked particularly impressive lately, and the Cardinals have only lost once at home all season (to New England). Quincy Carter got sacked a bunch in Cleveland last week, and I think the Cards will bring the same kind of pressure this week. This game should be a pick'em at best...because the Jets looked horrendous against Cleveland and Baltimore the week before, and they just aren't the same team without Chad Pennington. I think Zona's defense will get a few turnovers and will score on one of them. They should win outright...but I'm buying it up to +3.5 just in case.

Devner -11.5 over Oakland: The Raiders don't have what it takes to keep up with Denver here, and the Broncos need this win to keep pace with the Chargers in the AFC West. I will keep an eye on the weather to see how it might affect the passing games, but even if it's a blizzard...Reuben Droughns ran for almost 200 yards the last time these two teams played, and Oakland's rushing offense ranks dead last in the league. Denver should roll by 21+.
